Well girls we are looking at moving very soon, in the next couple of weeks hopefully. We want to be up and running asap and ready for the Christmas rush - which isn’t too far away.

So we are planning a HUGE weekend of our official opening and have some very special things planned.  At this stage the date is Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October.

Firstly it will be part of our fundraising for “Girls Night In” So we will be having a big crop night on the Saturday night.

We have organised to have a very talented scrapbooker coming to teach for the weekend - Sherry Mendoza.

What Sherry doesn’t know about scrapbooking isn’t worth knowing! She’s talented and creative plus lots of fun and I’m sure you’ll all learn so much from her.

Tips & Ideas

Tarrah McLean gives us her top 3 ideas and tips

When any of your punches get blunt, sharpen them by punching through some foil a couple of times.

If you don’t have the glimmermist colour that you want then use some watered down paint in a spritz bottle, might not have the glimmer but it gives a good mist. You could add dome glitter to it though if you have any.

Keep tags and buttons off new clothes, they look great as recycled items on your layouts!!

TECHNIQUE TIME:

3D Idea for Layouts - With Kylie Symons

Try placement of a Photo and 3D with Foam tape:

In my layout of Emma (above) I’ve torn a middle section and stapled down in various sections.

I then adhered my photo to the back of my base to give it a peep hole effect.

You then use 3D foam tape and place various cut out paper around and inside peep hole to give it a lift and to look 3D.

I have also used the same technique at the top of the layout too.  Easy yet really effective.
