I’m a bit of a magazine freak. I personally subscribe to two but often get 4-5 in the month, so here is a review of 5 popular magazines on the market today.
Scrapbook Creations – This Australian magazine is jammed packet with many great ideas. Informative features including taking better photo’s, step by step layouts and special projects. Scrapbook Creations is up to date with the hottest products and techniques from both Australia and the USA. Great tips, Scrapping Retreats and with a gallery busting with mixed creativity, you are sure to be inspired.
For Keeps Creative Paper – If you are in the look for a magazine that is all thing paper For Keeps Creative paper is for you. Formally known as For Keeps Creative Scrapbooking, this magazine features card making, Off the page projects and many scrapbook layouts that definitely get your creative juices flowing. With Book reviews, an extensive website directory, Competions and Templates for featured embellishments you’re sure to get your money’s worth when purchasing this magazine
Scrapbooking Memories – Australia’s Biggest selling Scrapbooking magazine contains many great features including a free sheet of patterned paper every month and scrapbooking layout ideas and free online alphabet downloads to go with it. You can’t bet their fantastic creative team and scrapbooking geniuses of Kristie Ibrahim, Mardi Winen and Jill Geraghty – Groves just to mention a few and you can’t go past the large gallery of reader’s layouts, including a great young scrappers section.
Creating Keepsakes – This US based magazine has to been a one of my favourites. A monthly scrapping to do list always gets the mojo flowing along with Becky Higgins Sketches. This magazine covers both 12×12 and 8 ½ x 11 layouts with the amazing talent of Jessica Sprague, Elizabeth Kartchaer and Ali Edwards you can’t go wrong.
Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbooks ETC - I have say in my option I have left the best to last. Budget friendly ideas and 30 minutes or less layouts, Scrapbooking problem solving, trend alerts and amazing sketches do I need to say any more. Always bright and happy, just an ease to read. This is truly a well rounded magazine.
