Design Team Call Out!

ScrapAWhile is looking to add to its current Design Team for 2010. Could you be one of them?
Requirements:
v 1 layout/set of cards or OTP item per month which will need to be sent to the store including the instructions of this item for in store class.
v Design 2 kits with written instructions for our weekend retreats.
v One blog and one newsletter article per month – this may be on technique, product review, digital scrapping etc.
v You will need to represent and promote ScrapAWhile through other means eg; Yahoo groups, your own blog and challenge blogs.
v ScrapAWhile Forum – as part of the Design Team it is very important that you are able to participate in the forum. Once the Design team is chosen you will be asked to moderate sections of the forum.
* All submitted work must be an original design of the applicant. You are welcome to use any products or materials you wish, but are highly encouraged to use the lines we carry in the store.
* Each member will provide a photo of themselves and short bio to be posted in store and online.
* You must maintain an active presence within the ScrapAWhile Community either in store or online. Once the selection is made a choice will be given to the team regarding sections in the forum they wish to be a part of.
Complete confidentiality of store information is required. Forfeiture of any requirements will be cause for immediate removal.
Incentives:
* Whilst you are a member of the ScrapAWhile Design Team, you will receive a 20% discount at the store (online or brick and mortar). Clearance items excluded & does not include postage
* Product is provided to complete all projects (with plenty left over!). A pack will be sent each month.
* You will be given recognition for all projects that are uploaded to the Design Team gallery. You will also be featured on the website gallery with a photo and small informational section about you.

v 2 layouts showcasing your style – include full written instructions for 1 of the layouts (these will not be used at the store)

v 1 card, mini album or altered item
v A layout/project featuring as much product as possible from your favourite manufacturer

6. What do you feel are your strengths with writing for the newsletter and our blog – technique, product review, digital scrapping etc.
Applications are due by 31st January. The new Design Team members will be notified by February 14th.
