2010 ScrapAWhile Design Team - Day 4 Announcement
Monday, February 15th, 2010
We are delighted to announce the next member of the 2010 ScrapAWhile Design Team
Tracey Manderson
Here’s a little about her:
Married with 4 children, Daughter 27, son 22, son 20 & youngest daughter 13. My oldest daughter has given me my favourite scrapping subject, my grand daughter Hannah and has just provided me with a brand new subject a grandson Bailey. He was born 13 weeks premature, and have taken heaps of photos already.
So far she is the only one to have left home soI still have 3 at home,
I don’t know if I have a style, I just like to scrap, love to use sketches. Love bling, flowers & swirls. Purple is MY colour.
I think I am a KAOS person, totally work in kaos, usually standing up. Haven’t met anyone I couldn’t talk too, drives my kids insane. I will start talking to someone, they will want to know who it is, and I will say, “I don’t know, I was just being friendly” LOL.
My favourite manufacturer - hmmmm well I love Bo Bunny and Basic Grey, but I’m very frugal and like to get my money’s worth out of every sheet.
Come meet Tracey in the ScrapAWhile Forum - and don’t forget to check out the New Gallery! Here’s a treat - some of Tracey’s layouts.
2010 Design Team - Day 3 Announcement
Thursday, February 11th, 2010We are delighted to announce the next member of the 2010 ScrapAWhile Design Team
Kim Kendell
Here’s a little about her:
I am a mother to Malina whom is now 26 and partner to Donald along suffering scrapping husband. He is never surprised about anything to do with scrapping. I have been scrapping now for 8 years plus and have not lost the desire to scrap. I have found that my style has changed to wanting to be more artistic in my layouts by using different mediums such as ink water colours etc. I am always prepared to give something new a go.I believe I have a shabby chic/vintage style which includes the use of many and varied items one of my favorite suppliers is Prima Marketing & Basic Grey. I tend to like a lot of the smaller newer paper companies papers such as Glitz Designs, Rose Mocha, Little Yellow Bicycle, Rouge De Grange. I like to use unusual papers and bits pieces to create an eclectic look. I also have desires occasionally to do bright funky LO’s.
Kim has 2 blogs for you to check out – one is a fantastic sketch challenge site so make sure you drop in and give it a try.

2010 Design Team - Day 2 Announcement
Wednesday, February 10th, 2010We are delighted to announce the next member of the 2010 ScrapAWhile Design Team
Kim Jeffress
Here’s a little about her:
I am a former kindergarten teacher now SAHM to two boys aged 3 and 1.My husband works out of town during the week so I scrap most week nights. I co-ordinate the local playgroup and spend the rest of my time with my boys enjoying playdates, outings and playing with the other kids in our street.
I love using chipboard either raw, inked edges or sprinkled with glitter. I have been using Glimmer mist by using masks or flicking the sprayer to create a spotty grungy effect. I tend to layer bright funky embellishments with bright coloured pattern papers and use twine and string to further accentuate the casual fun feel to my layouts.
I would describe my scrapbooking style as fresh, funky and fun,
My favourite products include AC thickers, Chipboard , Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon Pattern Papers and embellishments, string ,twine, ribbon, Martha Stewart border punches and lately glimmer mist.
Check out her Blog glasshalffull and drop into the forum to met her and see more of her wonderful work!
2010 Design Team
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010We are very excited to announce our new ScrapAWhile Design Team.
Each day this week you will be introduced to one of the Design Team members and shown some of their wonderful work.
Today I’d like to introduce to you the lovely and talented Tarrah!

Here’s a little about Tarrah
I am 32 and live with my very supportive hubby Simon and adorable (sometimes) 4 year old son- Luke. I work fulltime in my own business- a hairdressing salon. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years and love it. Other than scrapbooking I enjoy reading, photography, playing the Wii and just chilling out with family.
I have had 4 of my layouts accepted to be published in Australia’s Scrapbooking Memories magazine however they have not yet appeared in the magazine due to them being months in advance.
I would describe my style as always evolving because I do quite a few different styles of scrapping really. I love to do shabby chic/vintage style layouts. My favourite products would be anything by Websters Pages, Sassafras Lass, Kaisercraft and Basic Grey. I could not live without patterned paper. My favourite technique would be making my own flowers using old book pages and old sewing patterns.
Here’s a few of Tarrah’s layouts - to see more come join the forum and find out what challenges and fun Tarrah and the new design team have planned for you all.
