TECHNIQUE TIME:

With Tracey Manderson

You Will Need :

Ranger Liquid Pearls

Bling – still on backing sheets

Adhesive ( i have used glossy accents)

Gemstones

 Acetate Sheets

Printer/scanner - Photocopy paper

First place your bling face down on the scanner, and do a black & white copy. You can do more than one flourish at a time.

 Next, take your sheet of acetate and place over your photocopied image. Now using your liquid pearls follow the design of the flourish.  Keep your image to reuse again.

 Try using more than one colour. I like to add gemstones to them as well.  Using the glossy accents, dot over the design, and adhere gemstones.

When finished, trim around flourish and place on your page.  You will not be able to see the plastic the flourish is on, once it is on your page and its page protector.  I use glue dots to adhere the flourish to my page.

The lovely Tarrah has started our challenges off with a bang this month

I would like you to do a monochromatic layout of any colour-your choice and I would also like you to think of a song title as your title.

This is my example for you below. I have used all plum/deep pink colours as my mono colour and I have used the song title ‘All You Need Is Love’ for my title.

Now you are allowed to use small amounts of a neutral colour such as white or black but it should mostly be your main colour.
If you are unsure of what ‘monochromatic’ is, it means the one colour but with varying shades of that one colour.

I can’t wait to see what you all come up with, you have until the end of March to complete and don’t forget to upload to the gallery and pop a link to it here so we can all see each others and leave some love for you.
